Veloteq Electric Bicycles-Types
There are two types of electric bicycles. These are commonly referred to as "power-on-demand" electric bicycles, and "power-assist" electric bicycles. Power-on-demand ebikes do not require the operator to manually pedal the vehicle, although this capability is provided. Power-assist ebikes require manual pedaling, assisted by the electric motor as desired, or required by the operator, for example, to surmount a steep grade, or simply make pedaling easier after a long ride.
Flexibility
Veloteq electric bicycles are all designed for specific purposes to conform to the demands and preferences of the largest number of potential customers. Our power-on-demand models come in sizes suited to riders both small and big in stature. Our power-assist models fill the demand for city and trail riding, as well as a special model designed for maximum portability, on a boat, RV, or even train or bus.
The Cavalier, Challenger, Commander, Commuter, Cougar XR8, and the Sorrento are power on demand models. The La Tote folding ebike, Osprey touring ebike, and Ranger trail bike are
3-way hybrids offering three operational modes; manual pedaling, power-assist,
and fully electric (power-on-demand, no pedaling required)..
Personality +
Each Veloteq ebike has its own "personality" They not only look different, they handle differently, lending themselves to the preferences of each individual operator. Some are larger, some are smaller, some have a more cushioned ride. Another might corner differently. We know that different users will have different preferences, so we leave the choice up to you. Visit a Veloteq dealer to see for yourself.
